Nigerian philanthropist and oil mogul, Tein Jack-Rich has formally declared his interest to join the presidency race for 2023 promised to create smart jobs and optimise the oil and gas in the country.
Jack-Rich who is running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made his formal declaration at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Friday.
He said his vision for a prosperous continental Africa was born out of the passion to develop the political and economic leadership that Africa was struggling with.
The 47-year-old is one of the youngest aspirants in the APC after Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and Nicholas Felix. The aspirant promised to uphold the traditional institution and strengthen the traditional value system. He added: “I will go to any troubled area myself. I will not send anyone. Let us not compromise Nigeria for friendship, tribe or religion.”
The aspirant, while addressing supporters in Abuja, narrated his life story of how he lived as an orphan in Port Harcourt after losing both parents at a tender age.
He said if elected, he will focus on youth and women empowerment, infrastructure and job creation.
“The global economy is about $83tn and the continent of Africa is just three per cent of the global value chain. That’s about $2.5t. it is struggling with the economy of California which has a GDP of $3.6tn.
“My presidency will strengthen our value system. We will create 26,000 jobs in each LGA on the first day in office.
“I will make it happen. When I create 26,000 direct opportunity jobs on the first day in office in the 774 LGAs, within one year, poverty will flee.”
In his welcomes address, Jack-Rich campaign director, former Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State, said he has taken the responsibility of marketing the accomplished philanthropist and oil mogul.
“Yuguda said: “if we are serious as a nation in search of genuine renewal in all ramifications, the most qualified among the lot in the presidential race is Mr. Tein T.S Jack-Rich.
Today Jack-Rich and his Foundation have provided for his Community and other Communities the best portable drinking water, employing over 3,000 Nigerian youths with plans for 12,000 as ambassadors of wealth creation throughout Nigeria.
According to him, Chairman of Belemaoil Producing Limited, Jack-Rich, is well prepared for the job of president having regard to his years of accomplishments in the private sector and high level training and management as a global leader of uncommon interactions with equally global thinkers and leaders of thought both in government and business.Jack-Rich was born on the 28th day of January 1975, to a humble family of Elder and Mrs. Teinbo Saturday Seliyefubara Jack-Rich, in Rivers State, Nigeria.
At the age of just ten, the responsibility to become a man was naturally bestowed on young Jack-Rich who at the time had lost both parents, and without any guardian except God Almighty to chart his path.
After twelve years of hard work, Jack-Rich founded J+G Global Gas & Oilfield Limited in 1998 and other subsidiaries to provide oil and gas-related services. Today he is the President/Founder of Belemaoil Producing Limited, the first indigenous oil Exploration and Production Company in Nigeria to emerge from an oil Producing Community in the heart of Niger Delta.
As a philanthropist driven by his values to give back to the society, he has through his Foundation, awarded scholarships to hundreds of students, some of whom have graduated from schools in Canada, Ghana, Ukraine, UK, USA, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Cyprus, and the Philippines.

He was conferred with the title of Sarkin Ruwan Hausa (the Water Provider) by the Daura Emirate in appreciation of his concerted humanitarian effort in alleviating the problem of potable water in Daura Community – Katsina State, and by extension, Hausa Land.
He is a multidimensional strategic thinker, a motivator, a strong believer in the Greater Nigeria; a role model to Nigerian Youths. He is married to his amiable wife, Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Jack-Rich and they are blessed with two children.
