Biography & Career

Tein Teinbo Seliyefubara Jack-Rich, a native of Kula Community in Rivers State from the South-South of Nigeria, born January 28th, 1975, at Port Harcourt General Hospital, Rivers State. Jack-Rich is an entrepreneur, a philanthropist who aligns with the ideals of global citizenship, a humanitarian, a believer in the social wellness of his people, irrespective of tribe, language, religion, culture, or degree of civilization. Jack-Rich is one born of a poor and humble background, the son of a village tomatoes and garri hawker with no access to civilization.

Jack-Rich was a village orphan boy who struggled to survive as a local fisher-boy when he was ten (10) years old, after his mother died because she could not afford her medical bills. Jack-Rich knows what it means to be poor and feels the pain and concerns of the poor because he was born into poverty. Jack-Rich believes in building bridges to champion societal greatness by unconditionally employing hard-earned resources and business earnings for the optimal development of our dear society.

After he left primary school at 15 and relocated back to the city of Port Harcourt to find his destiny, and after twelve years of hard work from the age 8 to 23, Jack-Rich founded J+G Global Gas & Oilfield Limited in 1998 and other subsidiaries to provide oil and gas-related services. Today he is the Founder of Belemaoil Producing Limited, the first indigenous oil Exploration and Production Company in Nigeria to emerge from an oil Producing Community in the heart of Niger Delta.

As a philanthropist driven by his values to give back to the society, he has through his Foundation, awarded scholarships to hundreds of students, some of whom have graduated from schools in Canada, Ghana, Ukraine, UK, USA, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Cyprus, and the Philippines.

Today Jack-Rich and his Foundation have provided for his community and other Communities the best potable water, employing over 3,000 Nigerian youths with plans for 12,000 as ambassadors of wealth creation throughout Nigeria.

In his quest for knowledge base leadership and to advance societal wellness, Jack-Rich have studied in different local and international colleges including, Georgetown University (EMBA) Washington D.C USA, Rivers State University (Human Resource Management), Imo State University (Marketing), Les Cous Sonou (New Business Creation and Project Management), University of Swansea (MBA) UK, Harvard Business School/Harvard Kennedy Business school USA, (Cert Prgm), MIT USA, London School of Economics (Cert Prgm) London, Panola College Cartage Texas USA (Petroleum Production Technology),  with several Fellowship and Doctorate awards within and outside Nigeria.

He was conferred with the title of Sarkin Ruwan-Hausa, Zanna Njima, Sarkin Ruwan-Ako (the Water Provider) by the Daura Emirate, Borno, Gombe and other titles too numerous to mention in appreciation of his concerted humanitarian effort in alleviating the problem of potable water and other needs of the society.

He is a development agent with multidimensional strategic thinking, a motivator, a strong believer in the greater Nigeria; a role model to Nigerian Youth and support of policy makers vision for the sustainable wellness of society.
